Hi Nev,

I'm very pleased to be using Auctionsieve, Thank You for your efforts in maintaining it. The program saves me enormous amounts of time and I could not manage without it. But unfortunately ebay may have broken something again!

If I search for "music man" dvd -anka -broderick -schifrin -"mr noisy" -kobukuro -petrucci -wang -goldblum -hokey on ebay.co.uk, and set the maximum price to 9 and location to "on ebay.co.uk", I get 4 items.

If I do as above and set the location to "Worldwide" I get around 40 items.

If I set up a sieve with "music man" dvd -anka -broderick -schifrin -"mr noisy" -kobukuro -petrucci -wang -goldblum -hokey in the Search Term box (All of these words), searching ebay.co.uk, with max price set to 9, I get the same 4 items.

But if I do as above and tick "Show Items Available to/Located in Any Country" I still get only the same 4 items - where I was expecting around 40!

It would appear ebay may have broken international searching for AS? However I will continue testing this search and see if it is just an ebay glitch...

Thanks
Andrew

Any thoughts Nev please?

This is definitely causing issues, I am noticing I get many less new results in all of my sieves now...

Might be a couple of days before I can get some time to look at it.

Ok, after a quick test, in AuctionSieve if you select
"From preferred locations" "Worldwide"
then it gives the same results.

Yep, AuctionSieve is doing the correct thing - if you go to the Advanced search on the eBay web page and choose the other options, ie Available to or Located in All countries/Regions, then eBay comes back with the shorter list. Weird I know!

Aha! Thank You for investigating Nev, That works...

It's an interesting subtlety, I'm glad we understand it now. I have quite a few sieves to change; on the few I've done already I'm getting lots of new results to look through!

Thanks and Kind Regards
Andrew
