Hi, first let me say what an excellent product Auction Sieve is.
I've been using it for a couple of months & it has been a huge help in negotiating ebay. Saved me a lot of time & helped me to find items I would never had a chance of finding before Auction Sieve.

I've not had any searching problems until today.
As of this morning, several sieves have been giving me the following error message
Quote:
ebay is returning error pages or pages I can't interpret.
(they may have changed their pages - email me if the problem persists)
Do you want to keep trying?

What I find is that if I press the button to keep trying then the same error message will come back. When I press 'no' to continue with the remaining searches, then Auction Sieve carries on. A few times it has encountered the same problem again in the sieve. Other times it has continued to the end of the sieve. Another strange thing - when this error message has appeared & it gets to the end of the search, it shows me that there are zero new items. This is unlikely as the sieves have at least 50 items each & generally even a daily search will throw up a dozen or so new items. So i suspect the error is linked to not finding anything new.

Perhaps I should also have mentioned
I'm on a Mac running 10.3.8
Haven't upgraded or made any changes to the computer for weeks.
So it's very unlikely to be anything to do with the OS.

The sieves I was searching were all looking under Music/Records for both US ebay & Australia ebay.
category 306 & au1071

Yep - eBay made some changes.
The newest update should fix it.
