AuctionSieve is again crashing on boot. A couple days ago, it looks like I installed a new QuickTime update from Apple. So I went back to Apple's QuickTime uninstaller only to find that it doesn't uninstall this newest version of QuickTime. Now what?

From what I've read online, it seems that Apple are just ignoring the fact that people are still using OSX 10.3 Panther.

Here are some instructions for how to downgrade back to QuickTime 7.0.3 :

Found that from here : http://66.102.7.104/search?q=cache:t_0NsxigfjIJ:www.zend.com/forums/index.php%3Ft%3Dmsg%26goto%3D3090%26S%3Dc9c43444ba5db938248ac7df345aae43+%22quicktime+7.1%22+update+java+error+forum&hl=en&ct=clnk&cd=1

Oh! I was unaware that this was a Panther-only problem. If upgrading to Tiger will solve it, I'll go that way. I had to postpone the upgrade to Tiger for more than a year until Apple fixed a problem with Software Update failing over satellite connections (how obscure!) but that's been fixed for a few months now.
