Category searches are quitting at 50. They're dead. eBay's made some change. No way around it on my end.
Edit: I tried creating an old-style category search sieve ("from an eBay category"). That invariably quits at 50 as well. |

Great. Just joined Trello and subscribed.
Edit: You might want to put a sticky post at the top of the forums re: Trello, and a link. Archive some of the old stickies ("What I'm working on" etc) |

New Beta (2.7.1.1) seems good in this respect - I am getting many results back now that I had noticed had gone missing. Thanks Nev! |

The eBay squirrels have been busy again. There's a new variation of the "quit at 50" problem. Category searches are mostly failing, though after repeated attempts a category will begin pulling auctions. Once it starts working, it continues all the way to completion.
EDIT: Ran auctions this afternoon, and things seem to be back to normal. |

I guess last Wednesday was a warm-up for their mischief.
Category searches were completely dead this morning, and still are this evening. Repeated attempts don't help this time. It's just like the breakdown back in February. |

This is happening to me too, on a permanent basis since May 11 or 12. I've tried everything - generating a new sieve in several different ways - no luck. One odd thing - of the 50 or fewer results I DO get, the auctions all seem to have a fairly short time to go - less than about 2 hours.
This is driving me nuts. |

merrillgi, bear with me a moment, but I have a workaround for this issue:
There are two ways to create a sieve. "by performing an eBay search" and "from an eBay category"
Don't use "from an eBay category" for your category searches, because you have no options. Instead use "by performing an eBay search". Then go into options, restrict the search to a category, and make the search term blank. Now you have a category search with choices.
I found that a category search with no search term is what's stopping at 50. Add a search term, and it goes on like normal.
So the solution is add a gibberish "Word to exclude" like "dxpjzr" and you're set. |

New beta is out.
Let me know if it fixes it so I can push out a stable release to everyone. |

Just tried the new Beta... I can't say it's fixed it either way, sorry.
Put it this way, I don't see lots more results in my sieves since my previous search from earlier today... But then I can't say I've seen the issue the others have had - possibly my category searches all have exclude words! |
