Just upgraded to the latest version 1.9.2 today from 1.9.1. I feel the number of search results I am getting now is approximately 1/3 of what I used to get. That means I am missing 60% of potential auctions!! Please post if you feel the same way. |

Hi flybuzz,
Can you give me the details of the search you're running?
This is such a drag..... |

I was actually seeing more *unwanted* results with the previous major change - when doing a "search" style sieve I was getting hits on words that were part of the ebay "page furniture" rather than the item title. I had to trash lots more words!
Maybe this version gets it back to normal!!

Well I didn't see any trash on mine, if I had to choose, I'd rather pick extra trash listings than missing potential auction listings that I want. If you are doing ebay for a business, missing listings can potentially shut down your business. This is something very serious. |

In case you haven't seen the message in the beta update...
Specifying multiple categories in a search sieve is no longer reliable!
Ebay's new search pages don't handle the option.
The most reliable thing to do is only specify one category and add an extra search for each extra category you want to search. |

Hello Nev,
Does this regard sieves with search terms (only search in catagory:...) or searches by eBay category IDs?
or both?
Please let me know. Many thanks in advance.

Just sieves with search terms.
The category based sieves with multiple categories still work - it just iterates through the categories retrieving all the pages for each.
I may changes the search-based sieves to do the same in future but I have some other ideas about that... |

It's fine, as long as I get all my resuls back, I don't mind creating extra search sieve. Thanks for letting me know the main issue. I got all the results I want now. |
