There were problems with the View links this morning which eBay resolved.
They were caused by some change they were making so possibly that's the cause of these errors... Confused

I think it had something to do with the advertising that is loaded at the top of each item page.
I got the same 404 error last night, but when I looked at the address bar, found the item number, and pasted it into another eBay page (in the right place in the address)- [I just clicked on any item listed on eBay's home page to get a sample that worked]- it then loaded fine! It seemed to bypass that redirect that loads the advertising. Of course this took me about five or six steps (control c's and control v's) for each item I wanted to view, when it usually takes just one click of the mouse. So it was slow going.

Of course today eBay seems to have fixed it.

I'm not getting any pages in through AuctionSieve, but I only have this with ebay.com. The european ebays are returning searches normally. Anybody any clue what is happenin over there? Question

Ok, I've had a look - eBay have updated their pages.

I'm working on the changes now - should have an update out in the next few hours or so.

BTW EBay always make changes to the US site first and then gradually roll the changes out to the foreign sites over the following days and weeks. That's why they keep working.
