I not delete sieves I no longer want to use - despite what apparently is a choice to do that. I run AuctionSieve on a Mac PowewrBook G4.
Anyone have any ideas???? My sieve list has become impossibly long and the dropdown menu in the right side will not display them a;; - I have to go to the sieve dropdown menu item and search through to find sieves I want to look at as they appear randomly in the list - making it more likely that I might MIS something.
PLEASE help!

Hi Rhett,
Have you tried
File->Select Sieve...
then select a sieve and press Delete...
?
(It's a bit obscure I know...)
Does anything happen? Any error message? |

By the way, another thing you can do is categorise your sieves.
Click on the Options button and have a look over on the right. There's a text field called Menu tags. Just type a tag or two in there and then have a look at the Sieves menu to see the effect. |

Ok, I think I've found the problem.
When you delete a sieve, if the sieve was still open in a tab, it would resave itself if you closed the tab (or closed AuctionSieve).
So now when you Delete a sieve I check to see if you've got it open in a tab and close it if so, then delete it.
I'll be putting out a beta tonight with the fix.
Let me know if it works! |
