I haven't used AS in a while, so perhaps I'm just doing something incorrect..

However, when I put in a maximum price amount of 20.00 on a sieve with only one search in it, I am still able to see items with higher prices than twenty dollars. I've tried this with both BIN items and non-BIN items.

What am I doing wrong? Razz

Thanks for your insight!

Not sure.
Can you give me the details of the search you're performing?

Hi Nev,

I'm a newbie to Auctionsieve, and I too find the same issue.

I'm using v1.9.0 under Windows XP. I'm searching ebay.co.uk, with time frame "All", Search term "(trailer, caravan, plant, camping, camper) (mudguard, mudguards, "mud guard", "mud guards")" , Search title and description checked, and "15.80" in the maximum price field. I have 1 extra search defined, idential except "stores instead" is checked (so I get the normal auctions and stores results combined).

But items appear in the sieve results for more than £15.80 (that's a UK pound sign if it shows up wrong). I guessed it might have been the syntax I was using, so I've tried "15.8", "£15.80" and also putting "0" and "0.00" into the minimum price field, but still no change.

I can get round this by using extra filters ("Price less than £15.80") - BUT I want to add more searches (with different price limits) to the same sieve, and the extra filters affect all the results, not just the one search.

Kind Regards
Andrew

PS - Looking forward to v2.0!

Hi Andrew and SilverVixen,

Ok, I've found the problem. As far as I can tell, it affected store searches only.

I'll put out a new beta tonight with the fix!

Oh and don't put any currency symbol - just the numbers will do. Otherwise it confuses ebay.
