AS has a checkbox (associated with a dropdown list) that enables you to specify that only auctions which show that the item can be shipped to a certain country will be included in the search results. I live in the US, but a lot of sellers don't specify "US" as a country that they will ship to, rather they specify "N. and S. America", "North America", "Europe and the Americas", "USA", etc. Is AS smart of enough to realize that the US is included in all these specifications? I've been afraid to use this functionality of AS, because doing so might cause me to miss some of the auctions specified as above.

It's however smart eBay is. AuctionSieve just uses the same search options available from the eBay advanced search page. So the outcome from searching using that should be the same in AuctionSieve.
