Just in case anyone comes across this before I put out a fix tonight (in about 12 hours from now).

The new beta copies across all your sieves and settings to your user folder.

Unfortunately I missed out copying the watchlist and pricehistory files.

Don't panic! All your original sieve files, settings, watchlist and price history are still in the original program folder.

There are two ways around this.

1. Copy them manually
- find the place where you installed AuctionSieve
- find the files watchlist.txt and pricehistory.txt
- copy them over to your user directory

By default, on windows
From : c:\Program Files\AuctionSieve
To (XP) : c:\Documents and Setting\yourusername\Application Data\AuctionSieve
To (Vista/Win7) : c:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Roaming\AuctionSieve

On Mac
From : Right-click on AuctionSieve->Show package contents->Contents->Resources->Java
To : ~/Library/Application Support/AuctionSieve

OR

2. Help me debug
- Go to Tools->Options->Advanced and select "Store sieves etc in program folder"
- Quit AuctionSieve
- Find the AuctionSieve folder in your user folder (See To: above) and delete all the files
- Run AuctionSieve as before and it will be using your old files

Then when the new beta comes out (2.0.1.3 or higher)
- download the update
- Turn off the "Store sieves etc in program folder" option
- Quit and restart - it will perform the copy to your user folder (this time including the watchlist and pricehistory)

I downloaded the new beta 2.0.1.3 and the watchlist and pricehistory still didn't transfer. Bummer.

Hi Walt,

The transfer process only happens once.
If you updated to 2.0.1.2 then the transfer process happened already and won't happen again.

You have to follow one of the options in the post above. Either
1. Copy the watchlist and pricehistory files manually
or
2. Delete the files from your user directory - when AuctionSieve sees there is nothing in your user directory, it will perform the transfer process again (this time including the watchlist and pricehistory files).

Second transfer worked great after deleting the first one from my application support library -- thanks!
