Just transferred auctionsieve.com to a new server - testing everything - these forums are currently a bit flaky...

Hi Nev, good to see you around these parts. Are there any plans for an update to Auction Sieve? There's been a problem the last week or so with unknown end times.

Just curious - are the problems caused by ebay making changes that you then have to compensate for?

Good to hear from you Nev -- I was beginning to be concerned that either Auctionsieve was dead or you were. Glad to hear you OK. Now about Auctionsieve -- do you have an upgrade path of new features (sure to be applauded by all) or should we expect only minimal tweaks and fixes from this point forward. It would be good to manage everyones expectations.

How about a iPhone App of auctionsieve that sync with the main computer -- that would be awesome and there's nothing like it at the Apps Store!

Quick note - I'll be putting out a beta in the next day or so which fixes the latest round of issues with ebay results and watchlist items. (In fact it fixes some long standing watchlist bugs - yay!). Stay tuned... and I'll reply to all the other stuff soon.

Ok - beta is out. Please let me know how it works for you!

As for future plans, in a nutshell :
- I haven't had much time to spend on AuctionSieve - thus the lack of any updates in the last age
- I have a number of other side projects in addition to AuctionSieve which also take my time
- I am committed to keeping AuctionSieve running bug-free
- I *do* plan to keep adding features to AuctionSieve!
- I've started doing iPhone development, so some sort of ebay ap is not out of the question - but don't hold your breath
- It may be a long wait till Version 2 of AS but it's definitely still in my plans

Regarding the iPhone - what specifically do you want? And how does that differ to what is currently provided by existing eBay iPhone apps?
