|
|
Hello,
Does anyone know how the "Has or Has Not Been Categorized" Filter affects results? I have missed some auctions on ebay that I ended up finding in the "Completed Listings" and I think I may know why now. but I really don’t see how it affects it, but I know it does. If I chose has not been,I get a different set of results of auctions that very clearly have been categorized. I look at the top of the page it says the category it has been placed in, and it’s always correct for the item I'm looking at. Either way, I get different results if I uncheck the box all together, and different results if I choose "Has" or "Has Not Been Categorized" Yes, three different sets of results. A little confused as to why....
Can anyone shed some light on this subject please??
Thank you for your suggestions, help and time.....
22 people have read my post, and nobody knows the answer? Surely somebody has ran into this. Again, I kindly ask for help..... Sure seems like this is not a very "active" forum considering the dates of many of the post's. Im really suprised because of how usefull this program is that we all use... I guess I will just have to figure it out on my own.....Thanks for looking.... |

You know, I think you've helped me by bringing this up. I think I should rename the filter to
'has been caught'
It has nothing to do with the eBay categories so that's a point of potential confusion.
If you turn the filter on and select 'Has' been categorised, it will show all the items under catch word groupings. If you select 'Has not' been categorised, it will show all the items that were not caught by any catch words. It acts as a convenience that you can switch on and off to give you a comparison of how many things you're catching vs not catching.
As to the activity in this forum - well, I really need to do some more marketing of this software. Not many people know about it but I find it hard to promote on collector's forums without coming across as spammy.
Personal recommendations are always best.
Help me spread the word! |
