Nev,

First I would like to echo chamalscuro's kind words for AS and your tiring devotion to it. Much appreciated.

Next, would it be possible to add a magnifier to the thumbnails on the left of the item "page" on the main screen? Something like when the cursor is run over the thumbnail it would magnify like it does on eBay?

Thanks for your consideration.

Dave

Thanks Dave.

I could look into it. No promises... I need to fix the thumbnails first - I don't think the large thumbnail code is working at the moment.

Thanks Nev,

I am not sure what the large thumbnail size is, but on my pc the thumbnail is approx. 3/4"h x 1"w.

I am mostly interested in miniature sized English cottages such as by David Winter and Malcolm Cooper. That said, the thumbnail of each cottage up for auction, is mostly too small to tell if it is a rare or standard version of a cottage necessitating checking it out on eBay.

There is no problem doing that but having the option to temporarily enlarge the thumbnail would be appreciated if possible.

Thanks for all the hard work, great program.

Dave

bump, how about allowing us to control the thumbnail size in pixels? clearly you show the thumbnail to a fixed value, and its not the same as ridiculous ebay that keeps messing things up, can't in be in the options list?

Just adding some info here.

First, the latest beta has some improvements to the thumbnail code so all thumbnails are the same size (at least the table row height is the same for all rows - sometimes the images that come back from eBay are smaller).

Second, if you haven't yet, turn on larger thumbnails.
Tools > Options... > Sieve Actions > Use large image thumbnails
Regular size is 96 pixels high, Large is 140 pixels high

Third, if I understand correctly, this request is for a way to be able to mouse-over the image and it will then show a much larger image as a popup - say twice or three times as large.
