Hi I was wondering if it is possible to duplicate a sieve? I basically have a complex search I would like to slightly alter for buy it now results and auction results.

I have my sieves stored in the program folder if that helps?

Any help is much appreciated.

Yes, I can help with that.

Before that though - have you looked at Filters? They may be able to achieve what you want.

Over on the right, click Add filter... and choose "Is an Auction"
Once you have that as a filter, you can flip it between "Is" and "Isn't" an auction and the results are updated instantly.
You can also combine that with the "Has Buy It Now" filter.
(Some items are auctions, some only have BINs and some have both.)

Now as to your original question...
Make a minor change to your sieve within AuctionSieve - eg alter the name
Shut down AuctionSieve
Go to the folder with your sieves and look for the most recently modified file.
Each sieve has 4 files, for example
7.info.sieve
7.catch.sieve
7.trash.sieve
7.seen.sieve

They're just text files, so you can open them up in Notepad.
Check the contents that it's the sieve you want to copy.
Make a copy of the files - note that the prefix doesn't need to be a number. Eg
mybooksearch.info.sieve

And alter the contents - look for the line that has something like
sieveName=yoursievename
and change it.

Load up AuctionSieve and you should see the new sieve.
