I haven't done much in the past with category searching. I'm using 3.1.1 on Linux.
I did a category search in 177829, which I expect to be bicycle tubes. Is it normal behavior to only see Time frame as the sole retrieval option? I wanted to add options of US-only, maybe a price range, maybe other options which I am familiar with from an Ebay Search sieve, but I am only seeing Time frame when I hit the Options button for the category search sieve in the GUI.
On the ebay website it seems possible to be in the category 177829 and then enter search terms in the search box and remain in 177829 - I am assuming this is not supported in AuctionSieve 3.1.1 (i.e simultaneous category search and ebay search box search)?

The category-based sieves are kind of old.
You can do the same thing with a regular search-based sieve now.
Just leave the search term blank and tick the option "Only search in category" along with the category number.
I should probably write some code to migrate everyone's old category sieves across and simplify everything. |
