Is there a way to make auctionsieve go as granular as some of the ebay searches let you get?

For example, in the category video games -> games, Ebay allows you to pick the platform and then a genre, etc.

This would help keep the number of auctions down - like I just did a search using video games -> for 1 hour and it brought me 745 auction, so I can't even try a "end today" query.

Thanks for the tool and thanks for the help.

eBay changed their categories so you couldn't go as deep. BUT often you can still use the 'old' category numbers. If you can figure out what the id of the subcategory is, you can enter it manually in AuctionSieve.

Do you know of a way to see the category number on ebay - even the big general ones?

Well, when you look at an auction, for example this one :
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=62053&item=8167350188&rd=1
you'll see that in the URL it says
category=62053

Unfortunately I looked at a bunch of auctions under the supposed xbox category but they all had just the general VideoGames->Games category of 62053. Sad
