When I brouse the EBay catagories I do not see a selection for EBay Motors. I would like to search in parts and accesories there. Can this be accompliashed? Thanks |

I tried to implement this a few weeks ago but haven't been successful so far.
But what I do know is that if you just do a regular search (of all categories), for example for "bmw" it will bring back results from ebay motors. |

Thank you for your reply. Glad you are working on this item. I am trying to search for a boat anchor. I want to search for specific anchor manufactures such as “Delta Anchor” and “CQR Anchor”. When I am not able to restrict the search to Ebay Motors the majority of the hits are junk, any items that using anchor in the name. I am into boats and boating accessories and parts. Being able to restrict my search to Ebay Motors in very important. I hope you are able to include this feature in the future.
I have been using your Auction Sieve software for about a week and have found it very valuable in watching the auctions I have interest in. I am very curious about your motivation to offer such a high quality software as Free Ware?
Thank you for your endeavors.

I've really gotta add this to the faq.
I'm part of the eBay affiliate program which means if someone uses my program to view an auction, then puts in a bid AND it's the winning bid, I get a small part of eBay's commission.
It's not enough to quit my day job but it's becoming fairly decent now that more and more people are finding AuctionSieve!

I'd really like to second this request. If I search for "240z" I don't want to see Hot Wheels, die-cast toys, or computer laptop parts. Being able to restrict it to eBay Motors only would make this tool useable for me. As it is, my searches within My eBay are more useable. |

I've had a go at this a couple of times without any success. Everything's quite different for the motors site. I'm waiting till I convert to use the proper ebay api which should hopefully make motors doable. |

Hi how does ebay knows if I found auction via your software and then made a bid on it? I have to admit I wasn't aware of this and frequently use snipping site to do the dirty job. Sometimes i find interesting auctions and then pass it to my friends would you do HTML export so when my friends would bid on it You would get your share? I would love to select few auctions from my list and than make an html or phpbb2 code of it ready to post on some sites. |

When you click the View links to open up items in your browser, AuctionSieve uses a special link to tell ebay it's come from me. If you then use sniping, then yeah, I won't get any money. And unfortunately, as an ebay affiliate, I'm not allowed to implement sniping functionality!
Being able to export those links is great idea! I've added it as C3 in the feature list http://www.auctionsieve.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=469#469 |

Thank you for an excellent program. Great job! I would also like to see Ebay Motors as a category. Many times I want to search for complete vehicles, as opposed to just parts, and without the ability to search in Ebay Motors I get way more results than I want. |
