I downloaded the AuctionSieveSetup-Jre.exe - 15.9meg file and tried to install it. I had a number of errors and was unable to install it properly.

I then downloaded the java files from the link and tried to reinstall the program. It did install fine after this but when I click on the launch icons nothng happens.

I then downloaded the smaller version and installed it also with the same results. I then uninstalled the program and reinstalled it but still the same problem.

I am running Windows 98 SE on an 850mhz chip with 250 MB's of ram and plenty of hard drive space.

Any suggestions?

I had the older version that worked fine on this machine and got the message to upgrade which I did.

Just thought I would mention this for reference.

Hi Clark,

It's probably because of your memory.
With the recent installer I've upped the memory required to 512Mb.

I don't know your financial position but upgrading your machine to 512 or even 1Gb will definitely improve the performance of your PC all-round. Nowadays you can get an extra 512Mb of ram for about US$30!
