It is possible to search specific categories and to exclude certain words.
Is it possible to exclude certain categories (say all clothing and sporting goods) by putting the category numbers and some symbol in the 'Words to exclude'? Or is there another route? |

Another example. I want to search Jewelry without watches. Rather than list all 20 or so categories except watches, it would be nice to be able to say 281,-14324 which doesn't seem to work. |

You would change the search term "Jewellery -watches"
You can't exclude categories

One of the Filter types is Category which allow you to specify whether they are (or are not) in the specified category list. Note that this does not filter subcategories automatically - you'll have to specify each individually. |
