Hi, my first post here!
I changed computers a couple of days ago, and now when I select 'Only search in category' in the Advanced search options, all the fields are blank. This is with 2.0.1.1 on Windows XP.
Your help is appreciated.
Thanks.

Hi,
As of a few days ago (roughly Feb 12), the category selection dialog box no longer works. I'm going to have to rework the code but it relies on a lot of other things being worked through so it's going to be a long time before it will be fixed.
In the meantime, you can browse the categories on the ebay site and find out the category ids.
For eBay.com, you can find the categories here :
http://shop.ebay.com/allcategories/all-categories
The category id can be found in the url, for example :
http://dvd.shop.ebay.com/DVD-HD-DVD-Blu-ray-/617/i.html
is category id 617
For other countries, when you enter a value in AuctionSieve, use the 2 character country code. For example, for this German category :
http://filme.shop.ebay.de/DVD-/83733/i.html
in AuctionSieve you would enter
de83733

Thanks for the quick response, Nev. I was beginning to think there was a problem with my installation. I'll add the codes manually, until you fix it. |
