Ah - my bad memory got the better of me.
The checkboxes in the Browser tab should all be *off*.
Then try clicking on a View link.
(Just a single item's View *link* - not clicking the checkboxes next to items and clicking the View *button*.)
Regarding launching your default browser, is there some way of finding the html file in some sort of gui file explorer? Running firefox from the command line is specifically running firefox whereas we want the system to figure that out what browser to run for itself.
There's some info here:
http://kb.mozillazine.org/Setting_Your_Default_Browser#Linux
What Linux are you running?
And does it use Gnome? |

yipeeh! Problem solved! Unchecking everything in the Browser tab in AuctionSieve did the trick! EVERYTHING HAS TO BE UNCHECKED. As soon as I check something there, there is either an error message or nothing happens.
Using Konqueror I looked for the html file and the "Browser launch successful!" window opened.
And just for being complete: I use Kubuntu with KDE - latest version.
thank you a lot - now I will be a happy AuctionSieve user on Linux as well as on the Mac! |

Hooray! Excellent news.
I might have to do some more work on the Linux stuff to make this clearer and work better. |
