|
|
Hello,
I am using Auctionsieve v2.5.5 on Mac OS 10.5.8.
I just tried to use Auctionsieve with Filevault turned on. Everything works fine, but the watchlist (and maybe the pricehistory) doesn't get saved.
It seems to me that a tmp file is being created somewhere in /private/var/folders/ and then renamed to the real watchlist file. But with Filevault the real watchlist file is stored on a different volume and the simple rename operation fails.
It would be nice if this could be fixed in a future release - maybe by creating the tmp file in the same directory as the watchlist file.
Sieves and already seen items seem to work just fine.
Kind regards
Andy |

Thanks Andy - that's really helpful - I imagine that it may be affecting other people as well without them or me knowing it.
I'll update the code to fix it sometime soon. |

Hi Andy,
A new beta is out which should fix it.
Can you test it for me?
