My last post was 2006 so obviously everything is going great..
Thanks
Is there a quick way I can reset the Data Base for the "Hide Items viewed Before" for a particular Sieve (or manipulate the DB if its a general one covering all sieves)? |

Create a new sieve with the same catchwords etc
Add the search term
Stop the download immediately.
Complete all the other search Items, filters etc
Delete the old sieve.
Feature request
It would be great if I could just copy an old sieve completely in Manage Sieves
Thanks |

Yeah, good idea!
In the meantime, there's a file with all the 'seen' items.
Have a look in the FAQ to find the location of the sieve files, depending on whether you use Windows or Mac:
http://www.auctionsieve.com/support/faq/
Each sieve will have some files like this:
7.info.sieve
7.catch.sieve
7.trash.sieve
7.seen.sieve
These are just text files.
Unfortunately there's no easy way to find which number corresponds to your sieve - if you're handy with grep, you can grep for your sieve name and you'll see it in one of the info.sieve files.
Then just delete the corresponding seen.sieve file. |
