Everytime I open AC, I get a message,"Failed to connect to Ebay, java.10.IO Exception." This is followed by a window saying, "Couldn't retrieve details for item < (something, usually a price or item # containing a cross symbol)> At one time, about 9 items got erased from my watchlist because of these crosses. Recently I got this error message.
AuctionSieve version 1.7.6

Ah bugger.
Yeah - for some reason, the title of that auction is getting a newline on the end. I'll fix up the code.
In the meantime you can open up the watchlist.txt and pricehistory.txt files in a text editor and edit the bad lines. (Turn word/line wrapping off to make it easier.)
Each line should look something like :
8167780053 27188 PRINCE OF PERSIA THE SANDS OF TIME AU $37.09 9 1108026159000 true true simran036 angelomarc au 1111559662531 true
It should be fairly easy to spot the bad lines.
Also, when there's a problem, a copy of the bad file will be copied to something like pricehistory.txt.bad1.txt
