Today is one of those days when eBay's having occasional hiccups, returning AS error pop-ups, "Failed to Connect".

When you have a dozen+ sieves running, it turns into a click-a-thon to proceed, complicated by AS popping up an occasional, separate "Would you like to proceed?" box.

A feature request I'd suggest is a cleaner way of handling eBay errors. Once you have good sieves established, it's an all-or-nothing affair. Either everything's going great (which is the vast majority of the time), or AS is throwing out pop-ups like crazy. I'd like to see the program handle errors, and not the individual sieves.

EDIT: Seeing that it was a temp file at the heart of the issue, I ran Disk Cleanup and had it delete temp files. Error did not show up in a subsequent run of AS.

Here's a new, different error. Spits out an absurdly long string of numbers. Got this the last two times I've read AS.

After several days, the error popped up again.

As an aside, lately AS category sieves have been quitting prematurely. It isn't the "quit at 50" issue, but more subtle. It's random early quits before pulling all results. Or they run to the end as they should. There's no pattern to it that I can see. When they quit before they should, I can run it again, and get more results, or that may quit early too.

If you can give me a search where it happens regularly I can see if I can replicate it.

OK, got beta running. I'll let a few days and sessions go by, because I wasn't getting that error message every session.

As for the quitting early, *shrug*, it's inconsistent. It's the bigger "All" sieves. So far, my workaround is running a quick "New Today" pull, which seems to catch the auctions the early quit would miss. If I see a real pattern, I'll report it.
