|
|
Hello,
I'm a long time auctionsieve user and I consider the program really great.
I'm writing from Italy and ebay Italy search form let me search for items located in Europe.
That's a very useful option for people living in Europe in order to filter out items located in the rest of the world so that we don't have to think about custom fees.
I just would like to ask to add, if possible, Europe in the location scroll menu in the auctionsieve's search option, as at the moment I can just find all the single countries and United States as the only big group of countries.
I'm eventually avaiable to give all my support to implement this feature.
Just as a last little request, the last touch to turn auctionsieve to the best tool on earth would be the possibility to add a location column to the search results in order to be able to immediately see in which country the item is located.
Maybe there's already a way to customize the results screen but i couldn't find it browsing the interface.
Thank you in advance for your great work!

Hi Luca,
Good ideas.
I've looked into the Europe thing before but unfortunately I couldn't get it to work.
Regarding displaying the country, that's not included in the results that ebay sends back, so we're out of luck there as well. |

Just updating this topic for anyone who stumbles across it.
This feature is now implemented in the latest beta 2.0.0.1
In the search options,
select "Only show items"
then "From preferred locations"
then "European Union" or whatever's appropriate depending on the eBay site being used. |

No need to get a beta - this was released in to the stable version a year ago!
Click on the Options button next to 'Get Auctions'.
A panel will drop down with extra search options.
You can see a screenshot of what this looks like here:

Tick the box next to 'Show items' and choose from the dropdowns! |
